Community

If you’re living in Hull during your studies, it’s important to remember that you are a resident and a vital part of the community!

Now that you’re a resident of Hull, you have certain responsibilities, such as taking out your bins, keeping the volume down during the evening, and caring for your street and community. You can also register to vote in local elections and have a say in what happens in your new city!

Hull is a great place to live, work and study, and HUU is here to make sure you have the best time you can while you’re here. As students we contribute so much, to everything from the local economy to the culture, diversity and society of the streets we live in. The Community Reps and Vice-President Welfare & Community are here to listen to any ideas, issues or worries you may have about living in Hull, so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at huu-community-reps@hull.ac.uk or huu-welfare@hull.ac.uk

The Community Reps are here to represent you to the Council and make positive change in the community through projects and campaigns. If you’re interested in getting involved please do get in touch with via the details above! Online form coming soon!
