Jobs and Volunteering Fair
The Jobshop is planning a number of events during National Student employment Week (20th-24th Feb) to help you in employment. On Tuesday 21st Feb there is a Job & Volunteering Fair in Meeting Room 1 in the Students’ Union between 11am and 2pm where there will be a number of external companies at stalls.
National Insurance Number Day
Wednesday 22nd Feb is National Insurance Number Day where International Students can come up to the Jobshop and have help getting a National Insurance Number to enable them to work in the UK. It will be through appointment only so please email Beccy on huu-jobshop@hull.ac.uk to book an appointment. There will be appointments all day but they will get booked up so please email as soon as possible.
Claim Your Tax Back
On Friday 24th Feb the jobshop is open for you to come along to discuss any tax worries. We can help you to claim your tax back or help you if you need to call inland revenue. There will also be forms to fill out so come along to see if we can help.
