► Volunteering with us

If you would like to find out more about how you can become and Advice Centre Volunteer email huu-advice-centre@hull.ac.uk or ring 01482 466263 for an informal chat.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make friends as well as learning new skills and developing existing ones.

As a volunteer, we will provide you with full, comprehensive support and training for key skills development.

Please note: due to the limited number of positions available we do undertake a process of selection, which is done by the application form and interview. We are sorry that we cannot accept final year student as volunteers in our second semester recruitment.

Dates for applications and training will be made available when confirmed.

“Joining the Advice Centre last semester is one of the best things I have done at University so far. Through the preliminary training and shadowing of other volunteers, I never felt thrown into the deep end and now feel confident giving useful advice to fellow students.”
