Welcome to Hull University Union’s fundraising page!
We want the Union to be at the heart of the student experience which is why we offer services across the board of Governance, Education, Community, Sport and Welfare.
We are always striving to improve, develop and expand our services which is why we are looking at new, non-traditional methods of raising money for the Union itself.
All funds raised are put back into the Union’s services including the Advice Centre, academic representation, volunteering, societies, student media, sport, the Job Shop and societies.

We will shortly be launching our “Brick Path Campaign”. The Union has left its mark on many students over the years through volunteering, societies, sport and more. We’d now like to invite students past and present and anyone else who has a connection with the Union to leave their mark on the Union by having a brick with their choice of inscription laid outside the Asylum nightclub. The engraving could commemorate involvement in a particular society or group or whatever you like. Anything goes! (Within reason – AU people we’re looking at you!) The first brick laid will celebrate fifty years of student volunteering with HUSSO, the student community action group founded by student Derek Forster in 1961.
