Hull University Union Marketing department are offering an essay/dissertation printing and binding service for University of Hull students. We will be open between the hours of 1pm and 4pm Monday to Friday for printing and binding services for undergraduate courses.

The costs for printing and binding are as follows.
A4 Black & White Print – 6p per copy
A4 Colour Print – 15p per copy

Binding charges are based on how many pages are in the document:
Under 25 pages - £2.50
26 – 45 pages - £3
46 – 65 pages - £3.50
66 – 95 pages - £4
96 – 125 pages - £4.50
126 – 145 pages - £5
146 – 180 pages - £5.50
181 – 210 pages - £6

To finish of the bound document we also have a card back and transparent film front, which costs 20p and 30p respectively.

An example printed and bound dissertation would cost:
76 page essay (10 pages in colour, 66 pages in black & white) printed and bound with a transparent front and card back would cost £9.96 per copy.

During busy essay and dissertation hand-in periods, turn around for printing and binding can be up to 2 hours. During quieter periods turn around could be as little as 20 minutes. So please leave adequate time for your dissertation needs.

We can also add your cover sheets and department card covers to the bound document, if you bring these in with you.

To make use of this service, please bring your essay in on a USB memory stick and save your finished documents as PDF files. (It is very important to save as a PDF as Microsoft word files can format differently on different versions of the software).
