Hull University has a number of commercial services, which aim to provide quality and value for money. All profits from these commercial services is put straight back into the Students Union and student experience, making us truly a not for profit organisation.
Our commercial services include a nightclub (Asylum), two bars (John McCarthy Bar & Sanctuary Bar), and the Union Shop, Quick Bite and Quick Fix kiosks.

Are you looking for venue hire in Hull?
Members of the public can hire Hull University Union’s venues. If you are looking to host a birthday party, engagement party, wedding reception, school disco or office party then one of our venues will be perfect for you.
We have venues for hire, which can cater to parties ranging from 50 guests to 1100 guests. Having been accredited by the Humberside Police and Hull City Council as the safest venue, people’s choice and overall best venue in the East Riding. With accolades like that, you can be assured that your event will go perfectly.
