STATUS: GRADUATED - MANY YEARS AGO!
Born and raised in the Hoods of North Manchester in the blustery winter of 1984, I first threw a disc in the great summer of 1990 in Mallorca, the sun beating on my back and the cool sea breeze in my hair. After living rough in the b'urbs got my break by doing badly enough in my A-levels to be accepted on a European Studies and Business Studies course at Hull. (You gotta love the quotas!!) Thus entering me into a world of obscure sports...
My first foray into 'Ultimate Frisbee' came in my second year at uni in 2003 coming third in Sheffield Beginners Tournament!
03/04
Highs: Winning Liverpool, Winning Lay out award (beating Jill, an achievement in itself) and finally my most coveted award came when I won the most pissed whilst on the pitch.
Co-Hosting the best leaving party ever to have graced Hull's Beverley Rd Area.
Lows: Fucking up my ankle on numerous occassions, missing many episodes of Hollyoaks to make it to training.
04/05
Living in Spain meant a well deserved break from the frisbee circuit though my appearance (With Steve the Dildo) at Regionals in Leeds caused a stir especially for the Beginners including a freshfaced Sidds and Ho Chi Meng.
05/06
Fitness levels left a little to be desired after much drinking and late night casino sessions.
High: Playing as a Beginner in Edinburgh and geting thoroughly trashed on the way there (Flash RRRRRR saviour of the universe)
Low: No More Drunken Karaoke sessions (Only in Johnny Mac, I dont think The Hague knew what hit it!!)
Fellow members i have lived with include: Wee Bob (Robbie), Mike E and Spazzy Magee aka Clare.
