Hi I’m Dan from Nottingham and I am now in my 2nd year here at Hull. I had played Ultimate once before at school and when I found it at the AU bazaar thing I decided to give it a bash.......
Turning up the first training session I did not know what to expect... I was quickly given an experienced partner and taught the basics. After a few months of training learning about things such stacking and cutting a beginner team set off for the Sheffield beginners tournament. I had a great time and there was a great party at the Sheffield union on the Saturday night.
During my first year at Hulltimate I have met many people from loads of different Uni’s. The Hulltimate team have a great team spirit and there are always great socials!! Experienced players are always be happy to help if there is something you don’t understand and you’ll be amazed at how much you improve!!
