STANDING ORDERS GOVERNING THE POST OF
VICE-PRESIDENT (SCARBOROUGH CAMPUS)
 
1.         Interpretation These Standing Orders shall be read in conjunction with the Constitution, Bye Laws and other relevant Standing Orders of Hull University Union together with the Athletic Constitution and shall be interpreted accordingly.
 
2.         Status of Officer The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall be a voting member of the Union Executive Committee. They shall be the figurehead of Hull University Union at the Scarborough Campus and shall report to the Union Executive Committee accordingly. They shall also be a trustee of Hull University Union.
 
3.         Election The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall be elected in accordance with Hull University Union election regulations[1]
 
4.         Duties The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall carry out such duties and fulfil such obligations as arise consequent upon signing the Sabbatical Officer contract for the post of Vice-President (Scarborough Campus). The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall also be responsible for the following:
 
            i.)         Keys and Security measures for all Union property.
            ii.)        Ensuring that the Hull University Union policy on Safety in Sport is                       carried out with particular reference to Outdoor Pursuits.
            iii.)       The responsibility for ensuring that Hull University Union financial
                        regulations are adhered to at the Scarborough Campus.[2]
 
5.         Internal The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall be:
 
a.                 Chairperson of:
 
(1)              Scarborough Campus Executive Meetings.
 
 
b.                 Voting Member of:
 
(1)              Union Executive Committee
(2)              Scarborough Campus Football Committee
(3)              Scarborough Campus Sport Committee

 
6.         External The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall represent the Union to the University at:
 
(1)              University Court
(2)              University Senate
(3)              IT Monthly
(4)              Student Services Group
(5)              Student-Staff Committee
(6)              Welfare Forum
(7)              Disabilities Committee
(8)              Accommodation Committee
(9)              Estates Committee
(10)         Inter-Faith Committee
 
7.         Finance The Vice-President (Scarborough Campus) shall have responsibility for the following budget heads:
