Every month, HUU Education Zone is rewarding Course Reps for the outstanding work they do representing students.
This month (November), the award was jointly awarded to Valantyna Cartlidge and Bernadett Berta for their outstanding work in HUBS.
They created a presentation which they gave to a lecture theatre full of Business students explaining who they are and what their role is as Course Reps. This is a wonderful example of how Course Reps should be engaging with fellow students. Take a look at their slides here.
They also raised a number of issues at their Staff Student Committee. One of their lecturers did not turn up to one of their scheduled lectures, they were able to push the department to re-organise this lecture and were also able to get the module handbook uploaded to eBridge. Although this might only seem small, it is a fantastic win for students. A prime example of why we have Course Reps.
