Meet the Team

House Manager The House Team is headed by Graham Worrall, House Manager. He can be contacted on 01482 4662250 or email g.a.worrall@hull.ac.uk.

Graham is basically in charge of all building matters, from the team of porters, the door staff, down to the cleaning team. If you have a problem with any of our facilities, Graham is the man to see. Graham is also the person to see if you have behaved badly on an evening out within our building such as Asylum. He be found in his cupboard (sorry office) adjacent to the entrance to the John McCarthy Bar. If he's not there, pop to reception, where the girls there will be happy to locate him. His nick-name is not the 'Scarlet Pimpernel' for nothing!


Duty Porters
The duty porters, Les, Lee, Tom and Dave are a force to be reckoned with. They have hearts of gold despite their butch appearance and they are always willing to help out where needed. They are generally found around the building doing maintenance jobs or moving furniture and parcels. They are responsible for the building on an evening, so any problems at that time, just ask for a porter. Les also acts as deputy to Graham when he's not around.
