Ladies Football is starting this year off the back of a vastly successful season, which saw us place in the top division of the Sunday league and manage to field two strongly contesting teams in the university league. Not to mention the silverware we collected by winning the Development Shield final in 2008 and 2009 and coming runner up in 2010.
Despite our strong results and successful season we are a very laid back team with players of all abilities. We party hard and have some members who are here more for the Wednesday night socials than the hard working training sessions.TOUR is a reason in itself to join any sports team but Ladies Football does it harder and better than most. Football, drinking, partying and sun, sea and sand go hand in hand to make one of the best weeks of your life! SALOU 2012 IS ALMOST HERE!
We are a team run by our players with no outsider influence we are such a close knit group that we often don’t go a day without seeing each other, and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
With a team of mixed abilities, international students and players on exchange programmes that make such a contribution in such a short time we’d love to have you! So come along to Fresher’s fair or see us at training. (Information can be found on our AU board in the Student Union building)
