The Sharkettes are the official cheerleading squad of the University of Hull and have been around for over 20 years. The squad competes at nationally in competitions such as ICC, Future Cheer and BCA.
Cheerleading involving stunting, dancing and gymnastics all combined, but don't worry if you don't think you are an amazing dancer or gymnast, our squad gets everybody involved and works to everyone's strengths.
We train twice a week, during the sessions we train for our competitions but also include fun practices, where we are able to try out new stunts and new ideas.
The social side of the team is one of the best things, we are a close group and the socials are always great fun. We have had some very memorable socials in the past such as smurfs, rocky horror and the annual Pub Golf. Sharkettes is a great club to join as a way of keeping fit, having fun and making lifelong friends.
