Student Advice Centre

Housing
We can give advice on range of housing concerns. Are you having trouble with your landlord? Do you know what his obligations are and how to enforce them? Do you know what your obligations are? Are you having trouble getting your deposit back? Do you have the housemate from hell?

Better still, bring your contracts to us before you sign and we can inspect them for you so you know exactly what you are signing up for. We have a landlord survey which you can read before making a decision, as well as adding your own opinion of a landlord. We also have a wide range of leaflets on Gas worries, Carbon Monoxide, noise complaints, legal rights and many other housing related issues.
