The Club is so successful mainly because we have so many friends and helpers. A few of them are listed here...
The Left Book Club is a new project by Ed Milliband. Unlike it's namesake it doesn't publish new works, but focuses on highlighting existing books on left-wing thought. The local Left Book Club exists as a debating and promoting society focusing around this new project.
The Co-op and fairtrade society is a group of students who aim to promote the use of workers co-ops and fairtrade programs in order to improve the working conditions for ordinary third-world citizens.
Unison have close links with Labour and the Labour Club here in Hull. We work together with them to promote workers rights, fight discrimination and campaign locally for a safer more open community.
